Important Note: Cropping may occur to fit an image to the selected size. We will determine the best cropping.
BANNER FLAG
Semi-transparent if light hits both sides. Ink penetrates the back so on one side images and letters may be seen in reverse. This is available in pocket sleeve only.
BANNER SCRIM
Banner Scrim is printed digitally in full color on single sided 13oz high quality vinyl and is difficult to see through. This banner material can be printed as large as 16 ft x 50 ft.
BANNER SOFT
Less transparent than the Banner Flag, but images and letters can still show on the reverse side if light hits both sides. This offers the most vibrant color of all the banner materials.
Finishing and Hanging Methods for Banners
GROMMETs
With vinyl material a Miller Weldmaster T100 machine is used. The welding occurs from a high temperature bonding making it stronger than sewing this material. The grommets look like brass eyelets about the size of a nickel.
POLE POCKETs
Pole pockets are typically 3” wide with extra material inside the fold area. The customer provides their own poles and any additional hardware required for hanging the printed banner.
CANVAS CUT TO EDGE
This polyester and cotton blend material is more durable than 100 cotton and will not warp or stretch. It has a weight of 440 gsm and is 21 mils thick. It is printed to the edge without any installation hemming. You can take it to your local frame shop and have them stretch it on a wooded back frame like our wrapped canvas. It can also be stapled to the wall. Customers have also nailed wood molding directly to their wall over the canvas edge. This canvas option is used for large sizes that would be expensive to ship if framed. Instead, it is rolled and shipped.
FLOAT FRAME
Premium composite wood substrate is used for the mounting surface. The print is then mounted to this surface and coated with a UV Fine Art laminate. The laminate protects the print against fading similar to UV glass or acrylic. The edge is then finished with black. The Float is one inch thick and consists of a ¼ inch board to which the print is mounted and ¾ inch bracing inset approximately 2 inches from the edge giving the artwork the appearance of floating on the wall. It offers a lighter, less formal look than the Hollow Box.
HOLLOW BOX
A premium composite wood substrate is used for the mounting surface. An image is printed on photographic paper and then mounted to the wood surface. It is coated with a UV Fine Art laminate. The laminate protects the print against fading in manner like UV glass or acrylic. The edge is black, one inch thick and lies flush with the wall.
GICLEE PRINTS FRAMED
This process is typically used to reproduce the work of fine artists. However, any of our images can be printed and framed this way. Original paintings are reproduced in high resolution on velvet paper, which is 100% cotton and acid free. We use 310 gsm, 23 mil paper with a lightly textured (velvet), white surface. Real wood frames are used, frame grade acrylic, acid free foam-core with an acid free adhesive. The back is finished with a dust cover and security hardware for hanging. Frames are 1 ½” wide by 1 ¼" tall and available in black, pine, and white with an optional 2” (approx.) white mat.
NON-PERMANENT ROODLE
A self-adhesive backed 8 mil polyester semi-gloss 2 ply polyester based material. It can be used for cutouts (crack and peel, appliqué stickers), or large format art prints. This non-permanent adhesive material can be applied and repositioned without ruining your wall. It works best on well prepared, non-porous, surfaces. It does not adhere well to some low VOC paint. It has a photographic print quality with excellent opacity and tear strength.
PERMANENT CONTROLTAC
A self-adhesive backed 2 mm semi-gloss, 2 ply polyester based material (more durable than Roodle). It can be used for cutouts (crack and peel, appliqué stickers), or large format art prints. Once applied, it can sometimes damage the surface when removed. It is waterproof, but must be applied to a dry surface before being exposed to moisture. It has air release channels to allow for smoothing bubbles during installation. It works best on smooth surfaces. Adhering to low VOC paint is not recommended.
SINTRA PVC
A white, rigid plastic material 1/8" thick (3mm). Comes in 48"x48" or 48"x96" sheets. Must be ground shipped. Appliques are cut less than 30”x48” each. Installation requires a more aggressive glue than Styrene and sometimes a nail gun depending on size of each shape. Sintra can also be used to print square or rectangular artwork.
STYRENE
A white, rigid plastic material .03” thick. It can be used for our cutout appliques or square and rectangular artwork. Glue is applied to the back with a caulking gun. Low stick blue tape is used until the glue dries. The artwork is printed in 48"x48" or 48"x96" sheets with full bleed. It is flexible and can be shipped in a tube. It requires flattening before installation.
WRAPPED CANVAS
Our canvas is a 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend. It has a weight of 440 gsm and is 21 mils thick. Once stretched the overall thickness is approximately 1 ½ inches and the edge is black. Our customers have the option of printing in a large format canvas without stretcher bars (Cut to Edge) which is rolled and shipped in a tube.

WALLCOVERINGS
Wallcoverings are printed with UV inks on type II fabric backed suede vinyl (thickness .03"). Exceeds commercial flame spread and toxicity requirements. Passed all CCCW-408-D bacterial resistance. Ordinary dirt can be removed with mild soap and warm water. Wall should be sanded smooth and primed with a mold inhibiting primer. Wallcovering comes 54” wide and is installed by overlapping and double cutting. A premium heavy-duty clear pre-mixed wallcovering adhesive is recommended with a mildew inhibitor, such as Roman UltraPlus Pro-550. Printing cost is $18 per sq. ft.
